Very Spacious and Comfortable Country House with Air-Conditioning and Private Pool!
A private gated driveway leads to the house located on a pine-covered hill which offers the ideal setting for a relaxing holiday. This new and comfortable air-conditioned country house is equipped to the highest standard. On the ground floor is the spacious living room with flat screen TV, SAT, DVD and fireplace. The modern open kitchen with dining area has a dishwasher, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, coffee maker, toaster and electric kettle. The utility room disposes of a washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board. On the same floor, there´s also 3 double bedrooms. One of them is suitable for wheelchair users and has a en-suite shower. The other 2 double bedrooms share 1 bathroom together. The 3 next bedrooms all have 2 twin beds and en-suite bathrooms, 1 with bathtub, the other two with shower. Outside, the natural garden with pine trees offers complete privacy. There´s a brick built barbecue and terrace with dining space for 12 persons. The private pool (8 x 5 meters) with sun loungers and grassed area invites for a relaxing day of sunbathing.

There are lots of opportunities for water sports at the many beaches in the area and Porto Colom has a yacht club where you can engage in sailing, diving and sea fishing.
For golf lovers the famous Vall d'Or Golf (18 holes) is just 6.8 km

It is just 10 minutes drive to the authentic fishing port of Porto Colom which is delightful with its Spanish flair, there´s some good restaurants and tapas bars by the waterfront or you can explore the beautiful pine forest hills and browse the quaint streets for pretty souvenirs. You´ll also find many activities here and it is the ideal starting point for a recreational boat trip along the beautiful coast. Also within a few minutes drive lies the town of Felanitx, which enjoys a relaxed atmosphere where you can simply stroll around and enjoy the golden stone buildings and hidden squares and the Sunday market is definitely worth a visit. Once you have explored the town you could visit some of the surrounding vineyards as it is Mallorca's second wine-producing area, set in lovely countryside and close by you also have the Sanctuary Sant Salvador and Castle Santuari, both of which are perched on top of hills and have wonderful views of Mallorca and the sea. The popular resort of Cala d'Or with its prestigious yacht port, many shops, restaurants and bars is reachable in just 15 minutes and here are 7 different sandy coves with crystal clear water for relaxing sun-bathing.

Booking through Best Holiday Homes was extremely easy and trouble free. The villa was spotlessly clean on arrival, the welcome pack was extremely good, especially the amount of fruit provided. The setting of the villa is exceptional, very secluded and despite the amount of trees, did not restrict the sun too much. It was necessary to move to different areas of the garden around the pool during the day as the sun moved position. The pool was extremely clean with hardly any leaves or bugs getting into the water, really surprising considering the amount of trees around. The few problems we experienced, mainly with the water heater, were dealt with within the hour by the owner, he was extremely helpful. He watered the garden at around 7.00 am every morning and was gone by the time anyone was up. There were plenty of sun loungers and external chairs and tables, ideal for eating outside in the evening. The weekly cleaning and bedding and towel change was very good, they let you know in advance what day they would be coming.
The only negative points were the beds were a little uncomfortable and the satellite TV only had German channels. For a permanent wheelchair user, the uphill route to the pool is only possible with strong help pushing you up the slope, which was basically dried mud. Coming down the slope was extremely difficult, especially if the wheelchair user has no sitting balance as the wheels slide on the mud, which tended to break up with use. Without help holding the person into the wheelchair it is slightly dangerous. After speaking to the owner it was clear he had not been made aware of the problem and he said he would put in a hard standing path up to the pool as soon as possible.
