Had a fabulous time at the villa -it’s not ultra modern but very comfortable and location is perfect - awesome view of marina - 2 min walk to spar shop and marina and 10 min walk in other direction to Cala Des Pou beach. Villa was very clean and great kitchen stocked with everything you need - spent lots of time on the fab terrace and in the pool. Beach towels were provided.Bedrooms and bathrooms spacious and well equipped - could just do with mirrors in 2 of the bedrooms for the ladies! Air con in bedrooms was fine and we usually had windows and doors open to let breeze flow through the house. Service from Best holiday homes was great - met on arrival at villa and paid deposit which was returned no problem on the evening before we left as we had a very early flight. There is another terrace which was out of bounds but it would be great if that could be used too… Would highly recommend villa and Service from Best Holiday homes and would love to return another time
A great place in a great location. We (Family of 2 adults and 2 teenagers) stayed at Can Veler for just over 3 weeks and found the place excellent, with everything one needs (spacious and well equipped) and a great location, close to port & restaurants, the beach and other places of interest. The owners responded to queries very effectively , making sure we have all we need (they even changed the wifi to ensure we have modern speed wifi). A fantastic stay all over!
Lovely villa & great location overlooking the marina. Plenty of space and lovely pool.
Great ocation and superb views over the harbour. Couple of mins walk to harbour and 10 mins to nearest beach. Only real drawbacks, the air con is only in the bedrooms and it is only on from 19 00 to 0700 so the villa does get very stuffy. Master bedroom does not have en suite.
Great location and really close to the marina which was great for restaurants and walks. The villa was very clean and they refreshed the towels and bed linen regularly.
Can Veler is a lovely villa with outstanding views of the marina. It is very comfortable with everything you need. However, the AC is only activated for 12 hours from 7pm until 7am, which is actually fine if the temperature is below 29 degrees, when it gets over 30 degrees as it did with us for three days, the AC is not enough. It was quite uncomfortable during this time. The pool is lovely, with sun beds and beach towels provided. The area is good, a small supermarket just down the road. The prices here were very comparable with the larger supermarkets, however for a big shop when you get here I would recommend Eroski which is in Cala D'or. It would be good if there was information regarding the surrounding area, for example, you could walk around the marina and take a footpath up into Cala D'or instead of driving ( we found this out on the last but one day ) also the footpath at the bottom of the villa takes you to Cala Egos beach, takes about 10 minutes walk. All in all a very comfortable villa.
We loved our stay in can veler, it was spacious, modern and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need for a family stay. The pool was great, we used the BBQ a couple of times and the inside of the villa was comfortable and homely. Everything was to a very high standard. The location was ideal with restaurants, bars and a small supermarket just a few minutes walk away. There is a larger Eroski supermarket about 10 minutes walk away which was very well stocked (we got our meat, etc for the BBQ here). You don't need a car while staying here. We had some lovely walks around the marina and into Cala D'or which was buzzing with restaurants and bars (not a good place for groups of people wanting to party, more for families and couples). The villa is also a short walk to Cala Egos where there are a few shops and restaurants and also a nearby beach . I would certainly return to Can Veler, can't recommend it enough .
The villa was beautiful. The view from the balcony was stunning. The villa was very well equipped with quite a few gadgets and well stocked with crockery. Luckily we had such comfortable surroundings as my young grandson became ill with chicken pox after a couple of days so we were confined to the villa. There were only a few small negatives, which are, no information folder telling us what there is to do in the resort, fortunately this was our third time in Cala d'Or to we knew our way around. But more importantly, telephone numbers for medical help and which clinic took the European Health card , we had to pay privately to see a doctor for our grandson. There were no unbreakable glasses to take to the pool area and there are beach 'towels', but they are of very thin and poor quality material so I suggest bringing your own. We would certainly recommend this villa and we would come back again.
Clean , comfortable and very well equipped villa in a beautiful position over looking the marina. We had a wonderful family holiday here, walking distance to marina with lovely restaurants, little shops and mini supermarket.Fabulous!
We were a party of 5 staying during 13th to 20th Aug 2016. This villa is lovely and modern. On arrival we were pleased to see that the basic stuff such as salt, cooking oil, tea, coffee, toilet tissue and kitchen towel, etc were already provided. The rooms are big and very clean. A large flat screen TV showing BBC channels allowed us to catch the Olympics. The air conditioning in the bedrooms comes on at 8pm until 7:30am and is very effective. Outside is very nice and stylish. The stairs down to the pool were safe and there was plenty of room around the pool for the sunbeds. The pool is large, but a little bit cold in the mornings. It got warmer as the day proceeded, but was comfortable once you plucked up the courage to go in. Location is great. We will definitely stay again.
