LUXURY VILLA WITH PRIVATE POOL & AMAZING VIEW TO THE MARINA OF CALA D´OR!!
This prestigious villa with 4 double bedrooms and modern interior features integrated air conditioning throughout the house and is fully equipped with parquet flooring. The large sliding French windows provide a bright light in the living room and open onto a terrace with chill-out furniture and a private pool with Roman steps. The living room also has a dining area, flat screen TV, SAT and DVD. All appliances in the kitchen are of premium quality (microwave, oven, dishwasher, ceramic induction hob, American fridge / freezer with ice cubes function). On the first floor there are three double bedrooms (all with large built-in wardrobes) and 2 bathrooms. The master bedroom enjoys splendid views and has its own en-suite bathroom and the two other bedrooms share a bathroom as well as a spacious terrace also with a fantastic view over the Marina of Cala d'Or. A further staircase leads to the roof terrace with comfortable lounge seating and more breathtaking views of the Marina and to the other side, views to the Mallorcan hill landscape. The 4th bedroom is on the lower ground floor and has two single beds and an en-suite bathroom. All bathrooms have a shower, toilet and bidet . On the lower ground floor there is a further additional lounge sitting area and ping pong table. In annex is also the utility room with washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board.

In Cala d´Or there´s various sandy coves with crystal clear waters which offer a variety of water sport activities and the Marina is an ideal starting point for a boat trip along the beautiful coast. At less then 1km there is the Cala d´Or Tennis Club. There's also many activities in and around Portocolom including horse riding, tennis, sailing, diving and sea fishing. For Golf lovers the famous Vall d´Or Golf Course (18 holes) is approximately 15 minutes drive (9.5 km).

Villa "Madonna di Mare" enjoys an excellent location in the Marina of Cala d'Or near the prestigious Yacht Club. In the Marina, at only a few meters walking there is a variety of excellent restaurants with national and international cuisine and the closest sandy beach is " Calo d' Es Pou " at less than 500 m. Along the Marina you can easily walk to the nearby resorts of Cala d'Or and Cala Egos. Cala d'Or is built in typical Ibiza style, surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation and pine trees, which provide the resort with a beautiful picturesque touch and here you'll find more lovely sandy coves like "Playa Cala d'Or" and "Cala Gran". Santanyi is also definitely worth a visit, a pretty, rural and authentically Mallorcan town with a serene atmosphere, great places to eat and a fantastic twice weekly market (Weds/Sat mornings).

We very much enjoyed our stay at Villa Madonna di Mare. The welcome by Betty was hearty and well organized. The travel instructions were clear and the contact by phone or e-mail always friendly and service-oriented.
The villa is a great location: The pool is awesome. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. The bathrooms are clean and well equipped with many towels. The purified warer is somewhat oily and surely not drinkable, but this seems to be standard in the region. The air conditioning is a real freezer and the villa keeps the cool air for quite some time, so no constant air conditioning is required.
The location in the front line of the port offers a magnificient view and is only some walking minutes to restaurants, shops and activities like mini golf, boat tours etc. The rooftop terrace is amazing, but often too hot (August) to stay.
And it has not seen a good cleaning for some time. This was the only downside of our stay: While the everyday rooms and facilities like the pool were very clean, the rooftop terrace, the kitchen cupboards and equipmemt like the washing machine and the dryer have not been cleaned for a long time. Also some equipment was very old and some not usable (very simple and old toaster, broken sunshade …).
While this didn’t diminish our overall experience, I would certainly expect more quality and cleanliness on a luxury stay.
After all: The pool was awesome and we would come back.
