Can Veler - Cala d´Or Area

We choose this villa for a family holiday and we weren't disappointed.
Check in and check out arrangements were straightforward. Upon arrival we were met by Ian who was very helpful. (Be aware a €400 cash deposit is required to be paid at checkin with the deposit being returned prior to check out.)
The pool area is at a lower level accessed by external stairs. The pool was absolutely lovely and well maintained and very clean, as was the whole villa.
Air conditioning is limited to the bedrooms and is on 7pm to 7 am timer.
The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you would need.
The location is fantastic and is a 5 minute walk to the Marina which has a stretch of bars and restaurants.
The nearest beach at Calo des Pou is about a 10 minute walk. A small Spar is located less than 5 minute walk away.
We would recommend this villa as a good family holiday base.

This was our 2nd stay and we loved it! It’s a great villa in a perfect location - 2 mins to marina - 10 mins to nearest beach Cala d’es Pou and 5 mins in car to Cala D’or town centre or Cala Egos - fab terrace and pool where we spent most of our time - bathrooms and bedrooms ok - kitchen very modern and fully equipped with everything you could ever need - vase of fresh flowers when we arrived too - great service from Ian who met us at villa - overall a fantastic stay and we will definitely return.

A well appointed villa with a wonderful view of the marina in Cala d'Or. Three excellent bedrooms with plenty of storage and two bathrooms. A kitchen with everything you could possibly want and a living room with plenty of space to relax. A comfortable verandah overlooking the garden and pool with sunloungers, BBQ, and table and chairs.

We had a very enjoyable week’s stay at Can Veler. The villa was clean and well-equipped (only thing missing in the kitchen was some oven gloves). The location is great with lovely views over the marina. There’s a small Spar shop a couple of minutes walk away and two larger Spars and a large supermarket about 10 minutes walk away. There are also plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance.
The air-conditioning does need to be looked at. It does not work properly. The control unit in one of the bedrooms does not regulate the temperature which remains far too warm. It is possible to reduce the temperature by using the control unit from another bedroom but this is not an ideal situation and will hopefully be addressed before next summer.

This is a well positioned villa with all the amenities you require. Good WiFi and TV for the kids. A change of bath towels mid week was very handy. My only concern would be the safety of toddlers and under 5s. Otherwise all good and l would definitely recommend.

We have stayed at many villas over the years and this was one of the best. It was comfortable, modern and had a fantastic location. Just a short walk to the nearest supermarkets and restaurants in the marina and Cala Egos and not far away from the livelier center of Cala d'Or itself. Perhaps the highlight though was the view out of the living room and terrace which overlooked the beautiful marina.
Highly recommended.

We had a lovely holiday, nice clean villa in a good location.

Everything was as described, with the exception of one thing: it’s 800 and not 250
m walk to the (sandy) beach from the villa. But all in all a very nice place. Loved the pool and the shaded terrace!

Had a lovely holiday, villas position was fabulous, few minutes walk from Calo des pou, minutes from the marina and a lovely walk to the town,
Lovely pool area, enjoyed spending our afternoons relaxing by the pool.
Mattresses we’re very much on the hard side as we’re the pillows, could have had better sleep. The showers and sinks we’re salty water which was difficult as you never felt clean, skin felt tacky.
Other than those few issues we have had a lovely stay, Ian who works for the company was a great help at resolving problems for us.
