Villa Acantha has stunning mountain and unobstructed sea views and sits in an elevated position above the peaceful village of Nissaki. The interior has been lovingly furnished to an exceptionally high standard with the majority of the furniture being shipped from abroad resulting in good quality mattresses ensuring a comfortable nights sleep in the 3 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. All bedrooms benefit from sea views and glass doors to the outside, the first floor bedroom has dual French doors to balconies/large terraces and wonderful views. The villa has air conditioning, WiFi and Mosquito nets fitted to all windows. The luxury, high quality and well equipped kitchen with centre island, units with granite worktops is fully fitted with integral electrical appliances (electric oven, ceramic hob, overhead extractor fan, dishwasher, tall fridge/freezer) and the open plan lounge has comfortable sofas and a flat screen wall mounted TV (satellite - all UK and European speaking channels). The recent addition of two sets of large concertina windows in the sitting room enhances the amazing view which can now be enjoyed from all corners of the sitting room, dining room and kitchen. The grounds are extremely private with extensive patio areas around the large pool and some shaded areas to relax amongst the olive groves and for those who enjoy dining at home there is a large brick built barbecue and two separate outside dining areas with sea views. Villa Acantha has an excellent location for exploring this enchanting area of Corfu and the views from both the terraces and the spacious balconies are spectacular, the turquoise sea stretches out below and you can sit for hours enjoying the sailing boats returning to the marina or the sight of cruise liners arriving into Corfu Town just across the bay.

The grounds are extremely private with extensive patio areas around the large private pool (10 x 4 meters - depth 0.90 to 2.40 m) with lots of shaded patio areas to relax amongst the olive groves.
Wicker lounge furniture, dining furniture, a large brick built barbecue and two separate outside dining areas with wonderful sea views.

Sports & Activities
Jaw Dropping Walks: Behind the village, there are paths leading through the cypress-covered sides of Mount Pandokator (pack a picnic and wander off for the day). The 220-kilometre-long Corfu Trail, which winds around the island passes through the valley behind Nissaki and you’ll get a stunning sea view if you head out along the steep coastal path towards the rocky coves of Katavolos.
Days Out: From around 80 euros a day you can hire a speedboat and glide around the coastline. A popular destination is Agni, where there’s a pretty, pebbly bay backed by a trio of family-run tavernas. Or you can drive to Corfu Town in about 40 minutes, the island capital wears its Venetian architecture well, though there’s a distinctly Parisienne look to The Liston, an arcade of elegant cafés.

The villa is not suitable for persons with walking difficulties due to the steps down to the villa.

Located just above the village of Nissaki in the area of Viglatsouri, an excellent location to enjoy this enchanting corner of Corfu which attracts so many ‘celebs’ each year. The sleepy hamlet of Nissaki on the northeast coast of Corfu is laid out around a trio of coves with sweeping views over to Albania. It comes with a clutch of shops and restaurants and spreads up into the pine-covered foothills of Mount Pantokrator, Corfu’s highest peak. You’ll find some premium hiking trails if you can drag yourself away from the village’s old-world charm and relaxed beach. The narrow horseshoe-shaped main beach is made up of white pebbles shelving gently into clear waters. You’ll always find a spot here, even at the busiest times and there are plenty of sun loungers and parasols to rent. If you’re feeling adventurous you can snorkel around the nearby coves or hire a boat to explore them.

Ideal location for recharge. Completely private but be warned: road to the property is not for the feint hearted and you shouldn’t go for the smallest engine car if you want to make it up the hills!!
