Villa Petrina is located just a 3 minute drive to the family resort of Gouvia and has spectacular sea views to the Marina, the north east coast and the peninsular of Kommeno. The property is one of two identical, adjacent and contemporary villas that can sleep up to 8 guests each (there are no shared facilities and the gardens, entrance and pool are all completely private), accessed via their own electric gates a long sweeping driveway through landscaped and manicured gardens leads you to the house and the impressive private horizon/infinity swimming pool which is set in marble and has fabulous views. No expense has been spared in the design and build of the villas with fixtures and fittings of the very highest standards and each one has 4 air conditioned bedrooms, 3 bathrooms plus a guest toilet (mosquito nets are fitted to all windows). The extremely large master bedroom occupies the majority of the first floor and has three individual sliding glass doors onto the large balconies with views of the sea and to Gouvia Marina, there is an en-suite bathroom and a dressing room/nursery, three further bedrooms and two bathrooms are located on the lower ground floor with views of the gardens. The fully equipped kitchen has modern units with granite worktops and high quality appliances (oven with halogen hob, integrated fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave plus a coffee machine, toaster, kettle) and there is a separate utility room with laundry facilities. The comfortable lounge with fireplace (Sony Ipod docking station, Samsung LED TV with Media system/DVD, Sky TV and wall mounted speakers) has sliding glass doors opening onto the veranda and pool area with beautiful coastal views. Villa Petrina can be rented in conjunction with Villa Marylis so ideal for either multiple groups of couples or families looking for high quality upmarket accommodation for a group of up to 16 guests who wish to share holidays together but still maintain their own privacy and independence at the same time.

Ideally located just 3 minutes drive from the family resort of Gouvia with easy access to the beach and a good choice of restaurants, the Historical Corfu Town is also easily reached at a short 10 minute drive. Gouvia was a small former fishing village that has been developed and today it is the main marina of Corfu welcoming many yachts from all over Europe and a modern holiday resort. It is ideal for couples and families, the local people are friendly and eager to show visitors the way of the Greek hospitality, it has a good selection of bars, restaurants and a lively atmosphere at night.
There is not one beach but several, of sand, shingle and pebbles and tiny coves are also to be found close to the centre, swimming is safe for children and access to the beach is easy from anywhere in the village. Beach activities include paragliding, diving and most water sports.
