Original and Charming Majorcan Finca with Large Private Pool (15m x 8m) and Mediterranean Garden!
Finca Ses Rodes is completely decorated in an original and cosy Majorcan style, the walls are decorated with natural stones and the ceilings are characterised by massive wooden beams. The living room with fireplace is central in the space distribution of the house, the open dining area with cosy light has space for up to 8 people, and also has its own fireplace. The kitchen is fully equipped with stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher etc. The house has 4 double bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, 1 bathroom is on the outside which is especially handy during the day after using the pool. The large private pool (15 x 8 meters) is surrounded by a well kept lawn, Mediterranean vegetation, palm trees and is equipped with comfortable sun loungers. There is also a covered terrace with tables and chairs and a brick built barbecue for cosy grill evenings all together. In addition to the brick built barbecue there is also a Weber gas barbecue.
This enchanting Finca provides the ideal setting for a relaxing holiday. By the poolside and garden area you can lay back on the comfortable sun-loungers and enjoy absolute peace.

There are many hiking trails in the area, and cyclists can enjoy countryside lanes, coastal routes and more hilly challenges.
There are lots of opportunities for water sports at the many beaches in the area and Porto Colom has a yacht club where you can engage in sailing, diving and sea fishing.
Only a few minutes away there is the famous golf course Vall d´Or (18 holes) as well as several tennis courts and a riding school.

The picturesque fishing village of Porto Colom with its's Spanish flair is only a few minutes away, there´s some good restaurants and tapas bars by the waterfront or you can explore the beautiful pine forest hills and browse the quaint streets for pretty souvenirs. You´ll find many activities here and it is the ideal starting point for a recreational boat trip along the beautiful coast. The nearest beaches are Cala Marcal, s´Arenal and Cala Sa Nau. The popular resort of Cala d'Or with its prestigious marina, chic boutiques, shops, bars and a multitude of fantastic restaurants is reachable in just 10 minutes and here are another 7 sandy coves with crystal clear water to choose from. The market in Felanitx on Sunday morning is recognised as one of the best in Mallorca and is also definitely worth a visit.

Wir waren mit 6 Personen (davon 2 Kinder) vom 03.-10.10.19 in der Finca Ses Rodes in Portocolom.
Die Finca liegt am Rande des Ortes, der Ort (Hafen) ist aber trotzdem sehr gut zu Fuß erreichbar (ca. 20 min), der "Hausstrand" ist in ca. 30 min erreichbar. In der Nachbarschaft gibt es Hühner, Hunde und Esel, die man manchmal hört - hat uns aber nie gestört.
Das Haus ist recht groß, hervorragend geeignet für 8 Personen, es gibt jeweils 2 Doppelzimmer rechts bzw. links neben einem Bad.
Die Küche ist groß und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht - Kühlschrank, Geschirrspüler (Tabs waren vorhanden!), Microwelle, Kaffeemaschinen (mehrere, davon eine für Tabs), Gas-Herd mit Backofen, diverse Töpfe, Pfannen, Geschirr und sehr viel Besteck. In einemgesonderten Raum steht auch eine Waschmaschine bereit.
Im sehr großen Wohnzimmer gibt es Sateliten-TV, da gab´s anfangs Probleme (die Vor-Mieter hatten alles verstellt ....), der Eigentümer war aber sehr rasch zur Stelle und hilfsbereit, sa dass auch das noch am Anreisetag bereinigt war!
Rings um das Haus ist viel Freifläche, mit einem tollen, sehr großen Pool mit 9 Liegen, mehreren Sitzgelegenheiten (je nach Sonnenstand und Wunsch kann man im Schatten oder in der Sonne Kaffee trinken, Essen, usw.. Außerdem gibt es einen Pizza-Ofen (mit Holz zu befeuern, das vorhanden ist!) und 2 Grills (1 Weber-Gasgrill und 1 Holzkohle-Grill. Der Gas-Grill steht neben einer überdachten Außenküche mit sehr großer Sitzgelegenheit, wo man abens hervorragend mit vielen Leuten essen kann!
Vor der Finca sind 3 überdachte Parkplätze, so dass eventuelle Pkw im Schatten stehen können.
Alles in Allem ein hervorragendes Feriendomizil, das eigentlich keine Wünsche offen läßt!!!

A lovely property in a great location for exploring the local area. We were a group of 2 families and there was plenty space for everyone. The pool and gardens are great, There is a lovely restaurant within 5-10 minute walk and plenty more in the harbour area which was about a 15 minute walk.
The house has everything you need for a relaxing stay.

Beautiful property, helpful and responsive owners who responded quickly to queries. Lovely grounds and beautifully kept. Would recommend for a relaxing , peaceful break. Due to layout of the bedrooms/bathrooms it is also suited to 2 small family groups visiting also.

Wir eine Gruppe von sieben Personen,verbrachten in der Finca Ses Rodes eine wunderschöne Woche auf Mallorca.
Die Finca ist in allen Bereichen komplett ausgestattet,mit allem was man braucht.Auch das Platzangebot für die Anzahl der Leute war sehr grosszügig .Die Finca und auch der Garten bieten viel Sitzmöglichkeiten,
ganz besonders sind Garten und der Pool, sie sind wunderschön angelegt und sehr gepflegt .
Alle Räumlichkeiten war sehr sauber und ordentlich,alles in allem hat die Finca unsere Erwartungen erfüllt oder sogar übertroffen.
Wir freuen uns schon auf das nächste Jahr in der Finca Ses Rodes.
