Standing within the lovingly tendered grounds of Les Tires, mature palms, pines and large, gnarled olive trees offer shady areas scattered around a spacious, child-friendly lawn, terracotta pots brimming with attractive plants adorn the terrace adding splashes of colour, whilst a paved path leads the way to a good sized pool (12m x 7m) providing front seat views of the Albufeira, Bay of Pollença and dramatic back drop of the Tramontana Mountains.

Les Tires is traditionally furnished with the large country kitchen and open-plan living/dining area at the heart of the home. A long dining table ensures plenty of room for 10 at meal times and extra seating in the kitchen means sociable cooks needn’t miss out on the pre-dinner drinks and conversation whilst rustling up a feast. Patio doors lead out from both the kitchen and dining area, to a covered terrace with yet more seating for lazy lunches and finishing that dogeared novel, poolside.

For those with walking difficulties there is also an air conditioned double bedroom on this floor, as well as a separate shower room.

Upstairs a further 4 bedrooms, each with air conditioning, some with pool view, are complimented by a separate shower room with shower cubicle and bathroom with bath tub and overhead shower. Every window relinquishes a different view across the vast scenic landscape giving a sense of tranquility and relaxation.

Nonetheless, another big plus is the proximity to the old quarters of Alcudia (3.5km), complete with stone ramparts of the ancient walled village, encompassing a labyrinth of cobbled streets crammed with a good selection of tapas bars, restaurants (everything from pizzerias to Michelin star), handicraft stalls, boutiques and a hypnotic local vibe both during the day and even more so in the summer evenings. Twice a week the buzz of market day provides an entertaining morning, shopping for fresh fruit and veg, the sweet aroma of waffles in the air and rummaging through overladen souvenir stalls where you're sure to find the ideal gift for the person back home feeding the cat and watering the plants!

The sprawling beaches of Alcudia and Playa de Muro are just 10 minutes by car - the sandy coves of Cala San Vicente a little further. A gentle stroll along Pollenca’s famous Pine Walk or Alcudia’s yachting marina will provide many photo moments and lasting memories are made, as you put your feet up (or let your hair down!)

Port de Pollensa/Platja d'Alcudia/Platja de Muro - A range of water sports available including pedalos, kayaking, banana boats, parasailing and scuba diving. Boat trips are available sailing around the pretty bay or visiting the beautiful beach at Formentor.

The area is ideal for hikers and cyclists and for lovers of golf Pollenca golf course is easily reached within 10 minutes drive.
