Villa Mare Azul - C - Cala d´Or Area

The Villa was excellent inside & out with a view to die for over Cala d’or marina.
We thought the living space was a bit small and was crying out for a third bedroom.
AC was excellent. Could benefit from a vacuum cleaner, not just a broom!
Also, a bit sparsely equipped.
Other than that, excellent.

Firstly Best Holiday Homes staff are amazing. Due to COVID we originally had to cancel our booking in 2020 and had it moved to 2021 and even added on more days which was all very smooth. When 2021 came we thought we wouldn’t be able to get there again due to the traffic light system but they said it wouldn’t be a problem and would move it all again for us to 2022. Luckily this didn’t happen and we finally made it this year. Communication with Betty from Best Holiday Homes was fantastic! She put up with lots of emails and telephone calls from me but was always polite and extremely helpful. Thank you Betty👏🏻 The villa is beautiful and in a great location. Thanks also to Richie who manages the villa, very friendly and helpful! Would defo book again 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Perfect holiday apartment, would come back in a heartbeat. Location is great for town of Cala d’Or, no need for a car as there are buses and taxis everywhere if you want to venture a little further out. Professional communication with Richie and agency making check-in and checkout very easy Private swimming pool is a real game-changer!

Had a really lovely stay here. The villa was in a perfect location overlooking the marina, lots of lovely restaurants and bars nearby. Also very close to the little beaches in nearby coves. The villa manager Richy was very accommodating, and followed up any requests we had and checked in on us regularly. Would highly recommend a visit, and will definitely be returning!

Great villa in a really good location!

Lovely villa, good location. staff very helpful and flexible.
The only improvements I could suggest would be:
- a more functional table and chairs downstairs by the pool, as this is where we had lunch etc, and probably would have had dinner if we ate in (The BBQ was downstairs).
- perhaps a couple of hand rails (on stairs and steps by pool leading to villa) - purely as we had my 92 year old mother with us (I guess we and other people didn't / wouldn't miss them.

Lovely Villa, great location for us.
Helpful and friendly staff. Villa plenty big enough for a family as there are good balcony and terrace areas.
More cooking dishes and cutlery needed if you want to eat in.
Toaster was rubbish!

We, a family of parents and 2 teenage boys stayed at Villa Mare Azul 2 for the last week of June 2017. The accommodation was well located being approx 300 metres from the start of the Marina area where there is a range of restaurants and also approx 300 metres from the beach. Swimming with the fishes takes on a new much nicer meaning when taking a dip in the Med!
The accommodation itself was very adequate for our needs with a small kitchen and seating area together with couch and TV on the entry level together with WC facilities, This was supplemented by a nice balcony area with views out to the marina where once could enviously look on at the flow of motor yachts passing by. Downstairs consisted of 2 en-suite bedrooms - a double and a twin with access from this level to the pool and sun lounging area. All told we spent a very enjoyable week here,

If you prefer the more quiet area of Cala d'Or, this is the place to stay. The beautiful view to the harbour and nearby restaurants and a small beach was worth the money. The house is nice and clean, modern style. The first floor is not as spacious as on the photos, so we moved the chairs to the terrass. Though the kitchen is fully equipped, we missed a good kitchen knife, more plates, forks and knives as we only had six of each so the dish washer was on quite a lot. We enjoyed the view, the yard and the pool a lot and were very pleased with the service from the staff. Maybe they can find some home styling during off-season to make the house 'feel like a home' and increase the atmosphere of the holiday home? We stayed during high season so expectations were high as to value for money.
