We stayed at Villa Miro for a week at the beginning of October and we had such a wonderful and relaxing time that we are already planning to re-visit next year. After making the booking I received emails with updates of my payments, a request for my arrival information and was sent detailed instructions on how to find the villa along with the owners contact details. I was also sent a link so that I could access my booking information and view/amend details at anytime - An extremely efficient and professional service! On the morning of our flight I received a text message from the owner wishing us a safe journey and confirming that he would be at the villa for our arrival. As promised Miguelangel was waiting at the gates and greeted us with a big smile and a very warm welcome as he showed us around his beautiful home. I say home rather than property as you can see immediately that the villa has been tastefully decorated with his wife Marietta’s amazing artworks along with beautiful personal possessions collected on their travels together. Miguelangel had also stocked the fridge with bread, cheese, ham, soft drinks, beer and a couple of great bottles of wine as welcome gift for us, it was totally unexpected and a very thoughtful and kind gesture, very much appreciated after a day of travelling, thank you! The bedrooms are spacious with built in wardrobes, the bathrooms have excellent showers with plenty of hot water and towels, the living areas are comfortable and cosy and everything is so immaculately clean that you just feel settled straight away. The gated garden is a delight, with two separate dining areas (front and back), terraces, sun loungers, a well-maintained lawn, a private pool (with separated children’s area) and comfortable furniture to sit back, relax and enjoy the privacy that they have created by the careful planting of beautiful Mediterranean plants and trees. There is no doubt that Miguelangel and Marietta are warm, natural and brilliant hosts! The villa is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac and less than a 3 minute walk to the nearest supermarket and the Marina with its array of cafes, restaurants and bars, and the nearest beach at Cala Es Pou is just a 5 minute walk. The main resort of Cala d’or is a 10 minute stroll around the Marina and Cala Egos is 10 minutes in the other direction. There is also a bus stop very close too which will take you to either of these places or if you feel like venturing a little bit further the market in Santanyi or the beaches at Cala Mondrago are definitely worth a visit. Villa Miro is a fantastic place to stay and to experience it….is to love it!!

we have just returned from a fabulous holiday in Villa Miro The villa was spot less and situated near the harbour and main square The rooms were lovely and traditionally decorated with the owners wife's painting on the wall which was really pleasant and welcoming The family made us so welcome with bread , wine , sandwich fillings, beer , water , milk all left for us when we arrived as it was late so we could have a drink and make a sandwich, this was a lovely touch. We had plenty of towels the pool was clean and warm and the gardens were pleasant and peaceful to sit in. The Villa had everything you needed for a lovely stay and was close to lots of lovely restaurants and shops and bars, we would recommend it in a heart beat. The transfers and information provided by Best Holiday Homes was also super and every thing ran according to plan We would like to thank the family for a really lovely stay and we hope to see you again soon Thank you

Just got back from Villa Miro and we had a brilliant time there. The villa itself is well located next to the harbour with plenty of restaurants nearby and only a 15-20 min walk into the centre. We travelled with a (just) 1 year old and the villa was setup well with highchairs, cots, bowls and spoons for him, the tile floors are a bit unforgiving but ok if you kept and eye on him. Also a nice big grassed area for him to roam during the day with plenty of options to provide shade for him. The owner (Miguel) was very friendly and helped us out when we couldn't quite get to the villa. He gave us a full tour of the villa and let us know what we needed to (which isn't always the case with other villas) and had left us with bread, cheese, ham, milk, water, beer and wine to tide us over for the first night which was really nice. It was also very reassuring to get a text on the morning of our flight to Mallorca wishing us a safe flight and with his mobile number. I would happily stay again and recommend to other.

A lovely villa in a superb location easy to walk to both Cala Egos and Cala d Or. local supermarket within 5 mins walk and a better larger one in Cala Egos 10 mins walk away. Glad we did not hire a car unless you want day trips out it's not required. Miguelangel the owner and his wife were there on our arrival and were very helpful and friendly. Would we return to the villa - absolutely Yes..

Stayed at Villa Miro for 10 nights at the end of August. The villa is very spacious and comfortable and very clean on arrival with beds made up. The location is great, 5 minutes walk to a small supermarket and Cala D'or Marina with bars and restaurants and 15 minutes walk to Cala Egos centre with larger supermarket, shops and restaurants. The 2 nearest beaches are in the Cala Egos area which are small sandy coves. The owner of the villa was extremely welcoming and gives you his mobile number incase of any problems. Our flight pick up wasn't until 2pm so he kept our luggage safe so we didn't have to carry it around on the last day which was very handy. You will not be disappointed if you are looking for a quiet, relaxing and comfortable villa, within walking distance to plenty of restaurants and bars and a very friendly owner.

Lovely villa, very spacious, close to shops and restauranr, easy 10 minute flat walk. Lovely to have swimming pool toys provided, such a good idea. Could do with more air conditioning in bedrooms.

We had a wonderful stay and the owner Migel Angel was very helpful when needed. For example, the bred toaster broke which I sent him a text message about and there was a new one delivered the next morning. The location is very good, close to a supermarket (10min walking) and the Marina (5min walking)which has very, very good restaurants (not the typical touristic Mallorcan scenr: better food and prices). I only gave the house an "8" just because the closest beach (15min walking) was very small and crowded both in the sand and water (approx. 50m wide beach). We took a taxi to Mondrago beach instead (10euros). I would recommend Villa Miro to anyone,!

My family, a party of 8 people, stayed for a week in this lovely house, spacious, well maintened with a lot of green. Everyone found his place and had a great time, enjoying the swimming pool early in the morning to late in the evening or visiting the beach, making BBQ, walking along the Marina, doing the daily shopping, everything very close to Villa Miró. The owner took care of any of our demand as he was reachable easly. His welcome drinks and food were very appreciated. We recommand this place for chill out in Cala d'Or!

We had a lovely week in Villa Miro. The house is very nice and spacious, very well equiped. A 5 min walk from the nice beach Cala es Pou. Also the owner was very friendly and helpfull. We will book this house again next year for sure!

My family and I stayed in Villa Miro for 10 days in August 2015. We had the most wonderful holiday and couldn't fault anything about out stay. The location of the villa is perfect; very close to the beach and also to the Marina. There is a lovely train that brings you into Cala d'Or from the Marina which only takes about 10 minutes max. The villa is beautiful. It is clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. All our needs were catered for. The air-conditioning system is good and the outside area is lovely, very well kept. The pool is clean and of a good size and there are plenty of sunbeds to relax on. The owner of Villa Miro was extremely welcoming, friendly and attentive and made our stay an extremely pleasurable one. I would recommend this villa to anyone!
