we stayed in this villa at the beginning of July and were the first people to stay here. when we booked there were no reviews as it was new so I was a little worried. My worry was completely unfounded because the villa is gorgeous. It looks just like the photos and the pool area is better than the photos can show. It was immaculate, the kitchen had everything we needed, the lounge area was comfortable with a t.v (the only english channels we could find were the news channels but there was a dvd player, and a stereo), there is a downstairs toilet which is really useful. The master bedroom is lovely with lots of storage and an en suite, the other 2 bedroom are a good size, one has a door to a lovely big terrace, and there is another bathroom on the top floor. Just a warning for coming in out of the pool I would make sure your feet are dry and put a bath mat by the door to the pool as the floor is very slippy when its wet. (especially if you have children running around). The pool is a great size and is heated too so its never cold. There are plenty of sun loungers there, and a good sized table and chairs. one thing to consider if you do have children is that the patio door to the pool area locks with the handle and can't be opened from the outside but there is no key so can always be opened from the inside. Our little girl could open it but she was never alone downstairs so this wasn't a problem at all for us. our taxi driver had a little trouble finding the villa as the address is a small street but I phoned the lady from best holiday homes and she was very helpful, she talked the taxi driver through the directions for us. On arrival there was no cot or highchair in the villa as there had been some crossed wires and we were having trouble with the air conditioning, so we again phoned the lady from best holiday homes who immediately called the owners who arrived in less than 10 minutes with a cot, a great highchair and sorted the air conditioning for us. The air con is great and you can adjust the temperature in each room. The owners are a local family and are absolutely lovely and so helpful. The villa is cleaned once a week and new towels are given. The location of the villa is perfect. its a 1 minute walk to a big supermarket and a 5 minute walk to the town. we walked to the marina one night and it took about 25 minutes, we had a pram and a very slow 3 year old so would be much quicker with older children. There is also a mini road train that goes from a nearby hotel (about 5 mins away) that goes all over the area. This was our best holiday ever and I would recommend this villa in an instant. The Villa was perfect, the owners were lovely and very helpful and so were Best Holiday Homes. We are hoping to book next summer too.
