Villa Chrysochou is an attractive property which nestles in a prime location on the hillside on the edge of the village of Neo Chorio with spectacular views, overlooking Latchi and the sweeping azure curve of the Bay of Chrysochou to the east and the hills of the Akamas peninsula to the west. The villa comfortably sleeps 4 guests with 2 bedrooms (1 double/1 twin) both with en-suite bathrooms and glass doors giving access to the garden and pool area. An internal staircase leads you to the living accommodation on the first floor (entrance level) and consists of a lounge with fireplace, a guest bathroom, a well equipped kitchen and a dining area with french doors leading to a covered terrace with fabulous views. There is also an external staircase from the terrace to the garden, the views are so special that you will be encouraged to admire them from the comfort of your horizon swimming pool with Jacuzzi and watch as they change throughout the day from the azure blue into a myriad of twinkling lights in the evening, it's a perfect backdrop to romantic al fresco dining around the floodlit pool.

Security Deposit 300 € / credit card hold (pre-authorisation via online payment link, sent to you before arrival). The amount will be released back to your card upon leaving the villa in a satisfactory and respectable manner and with no damages caused.

Neo Chorio is a quaint and traditional village in Paphos, the central road that cuts across the village, leads to Akamas through the houses,fields and the kraals of the inhabitants.The chapel of Saint Ephraim is situated on a rising at the entrance of the village, in the area called “anadasmos (re-distribution of land)”, in between pine trees, the view from here is unique and panoramic. The neighbouring village of Latchi is just a 2 minutes drive with its coastal paved walk is the picturesque harbour of Polis, known throughout Cyprus for its fresh fish and in the past it served as a small port for shipping carobs. The old stone carob warehouses have been converted into restaurants, fish taverns and places of recreation. From Latchi, travellers to Polis can go on short cruises to the Akamas, a must for all visitors.
According to legend the area that is now Latchi was once long ago the scene of a dramatic tale between two young loves. In the time of the gods, Aphrodite, it is said, fell in love with a bold young hunter named Adonis. Adonis loved the thrill of hunting, Aphrodite, however was concerned for his safety and one day while hunting a wild boar he was killed as the raging boar buried its tusk in the young hunters side. As Aphrodite rushed to the scene she cut her delicate skin on the underbrush and tinged all the white roses pink. On finding Adonis she shed countless tears, which, as they struck the ground turned into anemones; the red drops of blood at the scene then turned into red roses. This legend explains how all the beautiful flowers came to be in this area.
Today Latchi remains a sleepy coastal town; the impact of tourism cannot be seen as greatly as in other towns, which allows the natural character of the place to shine through.
