Calliope´s Oasis with a private pool is set in the beautiful village of Asteri, surrounded by olive groves and is just 10 minutes drive from the beaches on the north coast. The villa has been constructed from organic materials such as wood and stone and sleeps 6 guests in interiors mixed with modern amenities and traditional Cretan charm. Air-conditioning and Wi-Fi is provided and both are included in the rental price. There are 3 bedrooms, 2 doubles on the first floor that share a full bathroom and have access to a terrace with far-reaching views over the countryside, a further twin bedroom and shower room is on the ground floor. The living area includes a flat-screen Smart TV with satellite channels, a dining table/chairs and a hand-crafted kitchen which is fully equipped with all appliances and utensils needed for a self catering holiday. One of the many highlights to this property is its' private swimming pool, it includes a water feature and a separated section designed for children, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for families. The inland of Rethymno provides nice places for hiking and trails pass through impressive gorges, ancient sites and authentic villages. On the northern side there are some diving centres that offer courses and organise diving trips to interesting spots including old wrecks and reefs.
Archaeological Museum of Rethymnon is 13km away. This museum is a treasure trove of historical artifacts and offers a glimpse into the regions rich past.
