Villa Melidoni is a completely renovated holiday villa with a private pool situated in the centre of the peacefull village on Melidoni with local small shops, a bakery and taverna all within easy walking distance and just a 10 minute drive to the amazing beaches of Panormos and Bali. This welcoming property has been renovated to an incredibly high standard making wide use of traditional features and modern comforts and sleeps 8/10 guests in fully air-conditioned interiors. Distributed across two self contained units (connected by an external passage and not internally) and only rented as a whole this unique villa is a perfect choice for families or friends wishing to holiday together but with the added benefit of privacy when required. The main unit has 2 large bedrooms, a family shower room, a fully equipped kitchen, a separate dining area and a lounge with 2 sofa beds whilst the smaller unit has one double bedroom, bathroom with shower, kitchenette and a second double bedroom above with independant access and a balcony. Outside the garden is completely fenced with a lawn, sunbathing terraces, lemon trees, a newly added private swimming pool equipped with comfortable sunbeds and for the lovers of al fresco dining, a stone-built barbecue and dining area.

Melidoni offers amazing opportunities for walkers and bike riders.
At the edge of the village there is an olive oil factory that will give you a good overview of the history of production and the possibility to buy high quality olive oil at a reasonable price.
Meliddoni Cave is one of the few underground structures accessible on the island, the beautiful and impressive chamber is famous for its mythology, history, geology and amazing archaeological findings some of which are exhibited in the Archaeological Museum of Rethymno.
Reptisland is a unique place for the whole family to watch, photograph, touch and learn about the magic world of reptiles with a variety of more than 40 types.
