Outside the large private swimming pool attracts the sun all day and is surrounded by manicured gardens with flowers, shrubs and scented rosemary creating a truly idyllic place to relax. There is a delightfully pretty gazebo and for the lovers of al-fresco dining they will be able to prepare delicious meals with a charcoal barbecue and a wood oven by the poolside whilst enjoying the spectacular view as the sun sets over the sea. With a traditional village nearby and the famous bays of Matala and Kalamaki just a 10 minute drive, this villa offers a gateway to some of the most beautiful beaches in the area, a haven of peace and tranquillity and the chance to experience some real Cretan Soul.

The villa is distributed over 3 floors - The lower floor has 2 bedrooms (1 double / 1 twin), a huge family bathroom with Jacuzzi bathtub and a fully equipped gym. The middle floor has been dedicated to the living area, with a fully equipped kitchen, dining table, armchairs, 2 sofa beds and panoramic windows offering great views over the surrounding area. There is also a large terrace which is perfect for al-fresco dining on this floor. The master bedroom with its own shower room and terrace is located on the upper floor and has amazing 360 degree views.

We booked this villa on short notice. Booking and payment was easy. We found everything after arrival. It is called a luxury villa with some nice features like treadmill, cleaning every 3 to 4 days,, mosqito nets in the windows, good furniture . But there is still space for improvement. The bed in the 1 floor has no slatted frame, only planks, The roller blind at the main door whas damaged and in a height of 160cm. Hopefully it will be repaired this winter. It is a great area we already visited in the 80's and back 2007. Nothing has really changed.
Hopefully next year will get better and we can leave Covid 19 behind.
