Villa Gastouri enjoys beautiful views of the sea and across to the Greek mainland, this luxurious villa is positioned on a hill in a peaceful and secluded area yet just minutes to the picturesque village of Gastouri. Set amongst four acres of olive groves and accessed through private electric gates is a contemporary designed property with open vaulted ceilings and a multitude of glass and concertina windows that combines inside and outside living perfectly. The interiors are extremely spacious with five bedrooms, four full bathrooms and one guest toilet spanning three floors that comfortably accommodates 10 guests. The main living floor with its vaulted ceiling and gallery is completely open-plan enjoying magnificent views of the sea and consists of a very large fully equipped kitchen with central island, lounge and dining room which are separated by a double sided feature fireplace. The rooms have 4 meter wide glass concertina doors opening out to the decked sunbathing area and infinity pool, there is also a second smaller sitting area with two glass doors opening to the outside lounge and shaded dining area, barbecue and terrace. On the top floor the master suite has a large walk-in dressing room, en-suite with a sunken Jacuzzi bath and large walk-in shower. The extra high ceilings, dual aspect balconies and glass doors offer magnificent views of the sea as does the second bedroom with a large veranda and en-suite bathroom which is located across the open gallery that overlooks the lounge and pool below. Located on a hill in a secluded and peaceful setting yet just minutes from the sea and the picturesque village of Gastouri. Gastouri is home to the Achilleion Palace and although a popular tourist attraction the village still retains its traditional character with a handful of traditional tavernas off the tourist route. It is centrally located with easy access into the islands historical capital 'Corfu Town' being just a fifteen minute drive away or alternatively just a 10 minute drive brings you down to the delightful fishing village of Benitses with its pedestrianised area and a great choice of local and international restaurants and tavernas. It's also home to the areas marina which attracts yachts and from here there is boat rental and day trips to the neighbouring island of Paxos and across to the the mainland.
