The setting is idyllic with extensive patios and outdoor lounging/dining areas plus a large heated swimming pool with Jacuzzi section and a built-in platform for sun loungers. It is less than 10 minutes drive from the family resort of Gouvia with easy access to the beach and a good choice of restaurants. Once a former small fishing village it is now the main marina of Corfu welcoming many yachts from all over Europe and a modern holiday resort. It is ideal for couples and families, the local people are friendly and eager to show visitors the way of the Greek hospitality, it has a good selection of bars, restaurants and a lively atmosphere at night. There are several beaches of sand, shingle and pebbles and tiny coves, swimming is safe for children and access to the beach is easy from anywhere in the village and activities include paragliding, diving and most water sports.
