Villa Gournes offers stunning sea views from its elevated position in Gournes. Gournes is located between Kokkini Hani and Gouves, approximately 16 km east of Heraklion and is part of the largest coastal tourist area in northern Crete. From the old road there are three roads that lead to the waterfront and the heart of this laid-back holiday destination with a lovely one kilometre promenade, a choice of several sandy beaches, mini markets, bars and, seaside tavernas. From here the busier resorts of Kokkini Hani and Gouves are both within walking distance along the beach front and a regular bus service runs both west and east providing a perfect base to explore the beauty of Crete along the coast from Heraklion to Hersonissos.
The villa is positioned on the hillside therefore walking distance should be considered on ability. Car and bike hire is available locally in Gournes.
