The house is located beautifully on the side of a mountain, overlooking the valley down to Cala d'Or. The views are really splendid! There's no immediate neighbors, and the place is really quite and relaxing. It takes around 10 minutes by car down to Cala d'Or, where there's a big supermarket right at the entrance to the city. The house is big, with many chairs and furniture, so there's enough space for everyone. There's even 20 or so sunbeds which can be used around the pool! The pool area is very nice, and the pool is big and really deep at one end (2,2 meters), so you can dive in it if you want to! There was no A/C in the bedrooms, which made the really warm nights quite sweaty, but we came for the sun - so can't really complain! =)
But, after being at the house for 4 days, the water stopped working, apparently the well dried up, and the owner came down and barked on us out about it. Very awkward and embarrassing. He said we had used 4 cubic meters of water the first 3 days, which frankly seems very strange. We had perhaps taken 3-4 showers and used the dishwasher 3 times. He was very upset about it, and told is that we now had no water during saturday and sunday. Which was semi-true, the water came sporadically on and off during the next 2 days, and then the water returned, but with the water pressure being perhaps 10-20% of what it used to be. Maybe the pumps stopped working? We couldn't use the bathroom upstairs anymore, we couldn't use the showers, the washing machine didn't work (since it couldn't fill up with water), etc. The water in the kitchen sink worked good, so we had no trouble brushing our teeth and so. The second family left after the weekend, and my family (2 adults, 3 kids) had the house for ourselves the last 8 days (we rented for 15 days), but the water never returned to what it had been when we arrived. This was kind of sad. If you advertise a house for 10 people, but can't supply water even for 5, you should inform your guest about this beforehand. We ended our vacation at a hotel in Palma, so we could shower and wash our clothes there before returning home. I don't want to make a big fuzz about it, but I think as a host your should not come down screaming at your guest like he did. That was not nice. After all, we are guests, and have paid more than 3385 EUR to stay at his home. We're really sorry that the water stopped working, but it wasn't our intention to make that happen, and if the host had told us before hand that he had only 4 cubic meters of water in the well, we might have skipped using the showers completely - if that had helped. I don't know how much it costs to have the well filled from the utility company, but that's the road I would've taken if I were the host.
I would very much like to go back to this place, because it was located lovely, and the house was big with a very nice pool area - but the water incident leaves a bad taste in my mouth, unfortunately. Hopefully the host will sort that out for future guests!

Very good. The house. The view. The pool. The service provided by Maria. Perhaps the kitchen should be more fully equipped with for instance a brush for washing up, bricks for the washing machine, a bottle opener that is not broken and some more equipment for serving the meals. But that is peanuts. We were very happy and will certenly come back - if we can. All the best: Steffen

The house was lovely and the views were amazing! Very near to some wonderful beaches and restaurants. The local tapas bar was lovely.
We had a lovely holiday at this house and would definitely go back again.
Local market in Santanyari worth a visit too!!

Schön gelegene Finca mit prima Ausblick. Für 2 Familien bestens geeignet. Die Küchenausstattung war etwas dürftig. Etwas sauberer hätte es innen auch sein können. Ansonsten empfehlenswert.
