Casa Emily sits in an elevated position on the edge of the town of Pollensa and within easy walking distance of shops, cafés, restaurants and bars. This old farmhouse has been converted into an elegant home and retains original features, tiled floors, wooden beams and sleeps 6 in 3 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It is laid out over 2 floors and has air conditioning and WiFi, on the ground floor there is a double bedroom with queen size bed, shower room, fully equipped kitchen, a separate dining room and a living area with SAT TV (Spanish/English/German) and DVD player. On the first floor is the master bedroom with king size bed, a bedroom with twin beds and bathroom with bathtub/shower. Outside steps lead you to the fenced terrace, barbecue house with dining furniture and the private swimming pool with sun loungers. This pretty area is surrounded by shrubs, Mediterranean plants with views to the mountains, a perfect retreat for relaxation and enjoying sunny days with friends/family but within easy reach of all the amenities that Pollensa has to offer.

Casa Emily sits in an elevated position on the edge of the town of Pollensa. Pollensa is located at the north of the island, an ancient town of attractive narrow streets and an impressive main square, lined with cafés, restaurants and bars. The town has several places of interest to visit including the Roman bridge, signposted ‘Pont Roma’, which is still in use and the Puig de Pollensa – a small mountain topped by a monastery. Just a few kilometres is Port de Pollensa once a simple fishing port, the town is now very attractive and there is rarely a high-rise block in sight; just long swathes of sandy beaches lined by pine and palm trees with a splendid array of cafes and restaurants. Cala San Vincent, a beautiful secluded resort village with a splendid beach and three small hidden bays enclosed by the imposing backdrop of the Tramuntana Mountains. These three bays provide fine sand and pebble beaches and the crystal clear waters provide a great place for snorkelling and canoeing.

I travelled to Casa Emily with my wife, 2 grown up daughters and one partner in September. We had a wonderful time in Pollensa. The villa in well appointed with good sized rooms and a nice pool and outdoor barbecue/dinning area. Although in a quite area of town there are top class restaurants nearby. Cellar El Moli has got to be the best restaurant in Pollensa but remember to book.
