Casa Angél - Pollensa

Casa Angél is located in the heart of Alcudia with views across the town and to the mountains in the distance. The town of Alcudia is a real treasure on the island, a perfectly restored medieval walled city on the site of a Roman settlement with remains of ancient houses and a theatre, with a wealth of history and charm this town offers visitors an authentic Mallorcan experience. The weekly market in the old town is considered one of the most important on the island due to its atmosphere and wide variety of products on offer and there are plenty of cafes where you can sit on the terrace and enjoy a drink whilst soaking up the atmosphere from the hustle and bustle of the market. Alcudia specialises in restaurants serving traditional Mallorcan food but are also plenty of establishments serving typical Spanish tapas. Just a few kilometers from Alcudia on the coast lies Puerto de Alcudia, the area around the old fishing harbour is now an upmarket marina where fishing boats sit alongside luxury leisure yachts, from here there is a pedestrianised promenade that runs along the coastline. On this promenade and within the streets behind you will find a good selection of bars, cafes and restaurants. Playa de Alcudia is the longest stretch of beach in Mallorca with 7 miles of soft golden sand, a whole host of sports and activities on offer and a very popular place for family beach holidays.
