Casa Boquer with a private pool is a semi-detached Mallorcan country house located just outside the town of Port de Pollenca and within walking distance to the beautiful sandy beach, shops and restaurants (approximately 20/25 minutes). The property is situated in the picturesque area of Boquer, surrounded by countryside and nature with a dramatic backdrop of the Tramuntana Mountains behind it. The house sleeps 6 guests and has been renovated as a holiday home with great sensitivity to the building's original design and decoration. Inside, it is cool and rustic with thick stone walls, high beamed ceilings, original tiled floors and beautiful antique Mallorcan furniture, some of it original to the house. On the ground floor, there is a spacious lounge/dining room which is reached by an exterior doorway, and a kitchen that combines traditional design with the latest fittings such as an electric oven, ceramic hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and a washing machine. Double doors lead out to a fantastic covered barbecue/outdoor kitchen area with an exterior full bathroom nearby. The three bedrooms are upstairs and consist of two twins (one of them with an en-suite full bathroom) and a double bedroom. All bedrooms have air-conditioning and a further full bathroom completes the upper level. Outside, the garden is well designed with a trekking/trail running circuit of 310 metres and stone sun terraces with pretty plant pots that run around the private pool. The views from the pool area are amazing, overlooking the whole resort of Port de Pollenca. Casa Boquer is a house with lots of historic character, a lovely place for a relaxing and peaceful holiday with a group of friends or family. It also makes a good base for walking, bird-watching, sketching and cycling due to the beautiful countryside that surrounds it.

Port de Pollenca/Platja d'Alcudia/Platja de Muro - There is a range of water sports available including pedalos, kayaking, banana boats, parasailing and scuba diving. Boat trips are available sailing around the pretty bay or visiting the beautiful beach at Formentor.
Pollenca - There are several places of historical interest including "The Roman Bridge", signposted ‘Pont Roma’, and "Puig de Maria", a small mountain topped by a monastery.
Cala San Vicente - The crystal clear waters provide a great place for snorkelling and canoeing.
Pollenca Golf Course - An attractive 9-hole course with spectacular views of the mountains and the north coast.
Puerto Alcudi - Water park.

Casa Boquer is situated in the quiet and picturesque area of Boquer with the dramatic backdrop of the Tramuntana Mountains behind it and fabulous views across Port de Pollenca. Ideally located just outside the town and within walking distance to the beautiful sandy beach, shops and restaurants (approximately 20/25 minutes). This attractive town is one of the most popular family resorts in the whole of Mallorca and offers great activities, beaches, bars and restaurants. Originally a fishing village the town still features a large marina which usually harbours leisure boats but you can still see some traditional ‘llaüts’ used by the Mallorcans for catching fish. The horseshoe-shaped bay is well protected from strong winds and so the calm, warm water of the Mediterranean sea is ideal for holidays by the beach. The 1 km "Pine Walk" promenade along Passeig Voramar with whitewashed villas and pine trees leaning into the sea is perfect for an early evening walk. The historic town of Pollenca is a short drive (15 mins) with attractive narrow streets and an impressive main square, abundant with art galleries, first-class restaurants, tapas bars and cafes plus several historical places of interest. Cala San Vincente is a beautiful secluded resort village with a great beach and three small hidden bays that provide fine sand, pebble beaches and crystal clear waters.
A car is useful when booking this villa to reach the larger supermarkets and for exploring the area but not essential.
